Pilgrim Places is both a resource for our local community and a resource for others seeking unique ways to offer books that explore culture, preserve tradition and enhance conversation.

Based at 1801 Mills, we are a gathering place where strangers become friends and soulful connections create community.

Here you will find a bookstore with themes from cultural studies to religious material with a unique appeal to Christians and other religious seekers, as well as to the general community at large.

What distinguishes our book selection from common “secular” bookstores is that we seek to explore concerns for personal growth and community renewal along with the spiritual and religious dimension implicit in each topic.

The selection of religious books is intentionally chosen to represent faithfully the diverse and rich historical, theological and spiritual traditions within Christianity. Though primarily Christian in orientation, Pilgrim Place Bookstore honors the sincere worship, reflection and sacrificial service rendered by adherents of other religions and fellow “Pilgrim” seekers.

Currently the bookstore is open upon appointment. Our full selection will soon be available via online catalog including our used and back stock items.

Bookstore

About

Here our walls are lined with a unique collection of newly released, out-of-print and rare books that form the core of depth and richness of our resources.  These books are an invaluable library to those studying the richness of Christian tradition as they meet with contemporary issues influencing our faith and culture.

The space is host to dinners and intimate conversations of consequence among spiritual seekers and people interested and involved with community renewal.

Study Center

An important part of Pilgrim Places now is our work supporting other organizations.

With our experience in books we are able to provide customized book selections for the specific needs of campus ministries, community coffeehouses, churches, etc.

These selections could be our top 150 recommended titles, books centered around a particular topic, author or tradition, etc.

We uniquely offer selections that open conversations of faith, life and culture.
